James Ruta

Senior Consultant

James is a qualitative and quantitative researcher with a passion for understanding why people do what they do and think what they think, particularly as related to products, brands and marketing.

Prior to joining Nature, James spent 3 years at Platform One where he gained invaluable experience helping clients in the FMCG, Automotive, Insurance, Telco and Financial Services industries understand their markets and customers with a particular focus on concept and product testing, relationship studies, sensory research and syndicated data studies.

He has been recognised by The Research Society with two Young Researcher awards including the Best Presentation by a Young Researcher at the 2023 Human Insights Conference and was, very proudly, the 2024 conference Youth Chair.
